Solatido Songwriters

SOLATIDO, (as in do-re-mi-fa), is an annual retreat for aspiring and accomplished singer/songwriters. We also welcome folks who may have other kinds of writing projects in the works and would enjoy some quiet time at the retreat and being around musicians at work. Each year SOLATIDO draws a joyful band of longtime musicians who enjoy each other's company and are interested in learning from each other over several days of formal and informal gatherings. Minnow Media (Donna Campbell and Georgann Eubanks) began the program in 2004 to encourage songwriters in their work and to get to know more talented musicians. (To date, Minnow Media has produced four different musical CD projects in conjunction with our video documentaries.).

Held in late September at the Wildacres Retreat near Little Switzerland on the Blue Ridge Parkway, SOLATIDO always features a prominent singer/songwriter who comes in to conduct an afternoon workshop and then performs in concert that same evening as part of our program.
